Update: Scott Weiland Rejoins Velvet Revolver?

After back and forth whether Scott Weiland would join Velvet Revolver again, it has been officially announced he is back with the band.

4 years ago Scott Weiland left the band, and until now they have yet to replace him.  In January the full lineup got together for a one off show in Hollywood.

In a interview with ABC News Radio, Scott Weiland said that he is the lead vocalist for Velvet Revolver once again.  "We've all grown a lot.  We're able to put egos and differences and old...conflicts aside and so that's really cool."  said Weiland.

Weiland also talked about touring and a new album.  "Slash's solo album gets released [on May 22] and so he's gonna do some touring on that and then we're gonna go and do some [Velvet Revolver] shows in the later part of the summer in to early fall.  They gave me a couple of songs and myself and [guitarist] Dave [Kushner] and [bassist] Duff [McKagan] are gonna be getting together for a song writing session next week."

UPDATE:  Slash did a interview with Minneapolis station 93X saying "He did not say [we're back together]?  He's out of his mind.  There's been a common rumor going around.  I know that he's been positive on that subject.  Maybe they know something I don't.  I have absolutely no intention of going back to that." said Slash.  "I'm on tour all this year.  I'll have to call Duff [Mckagan], but I seriously doubt that.  We have no intentions of going backwards."

Check out a audio clip of Slash being told that Scott Weiland is back in the band here.

We will keep you updated on what happens next.

Listen To Parts Of Foo Fighters Lost Million Dollar Demo

Before Foo Fighters released 'One By One' in 2002, the band worked on another album that never would get released.  The band spent four months and million dollars in a L.A. studio, but scraped the project because they said it "didn't sound right".

Dave Grohl moved the project to his home studio instead and they recorded 'One By One'.

Now two tracks from those sessions have surfaced online.  'Have It All' and 'Come Back' can be listened to below.  Those track names show up on 'One By One' but the versions from the original sessions sound quite different.

Check out the original versions of 'Have It All' and 'Come Back' below and lest us know what you think.

As you can imagine, shit is just fkd up right now. but i wanna say thank you to all our friends and family (which are kinda one in the same) for all the love and support. i'm glad to know that all the love that Yauch has put out into the world is coming right back at him.

           thank you.       "

Michael "Mike D" Diamond posted a statement on his facebook page with a picture of a tribute of MCA on the jumbo tron at Madison Square Garden:

"  I know, we should have tweeted and instagrammed every sad, happy and inspired thought, smile or tear by now.  But honestly the last few days have just been a blur of deep emotions for our closest friend, band mate and really brother.  I miss Adam so much.  He really served as a great example for myself and so many of what determination, faith, focus, and humility coupled with a sense of humor can accomplish.  The world is in need of many more like him.  We love you Adam.  BTW this phot sent to me by a friend, (thanks Saslow) is just one awesome example of how NYC is such a unique place that amidst it's huge size and frenetic pace it really opens up it's heart in so many ways and on so many levels in times like these.  And though it makes me cry sometimes, it has been really amazing and moving to see.
 Mike "
