Listen To A Previously Unreleased 1991 Pearl Jam Demo Song 'Chinese'
Lost Radiohead Track We Knew Was BS, Turns Out To Be BS
A lost Radiohead track that was suppose to have been recorded in the early nineties has turned out to be a hoax. The title of the track has been dubbed 'Putting Ketchup in The Fridge' and 'How Do You Sit Still'. Ateaseweb.com was first to report of the track and wrote: "A track surfaced today with vocals sounding like Thom Yorke's together with a Radiohead sound that could've been recorded in the early nineties. Think 'Pablo Honey', 'The Bends'."
CNN reported today that the track was actually the work of singer-songwriter Christopher Stopa, a baker in Canada. Stopa found out his 2001 track 'Sit Still' was being labelled as a lost Radiohead song when he sat down to listen to the track online. In the early 2000's Stopa was in a band called Morris Air.

Motorhead Going The Way Of KISS?
It seems Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead is moving into KISS merchandising territory. But I somehow dont think (and hope) that we will be seeing Motorhead tube socks or Lemmy and Phil Campbell Pez dispensers anytime soon. It seems Lemmy is going more for quality not quanity. Last month we told you about the new Motorhead Vodka and shiraz wine, now they are moving into the jewelry business.
The Great Frog jewelers has made two models, the Warpig and the Ace of Spades. The Warpig is based on the ring the designers made for him 25 years ago. He is quoted as saying on the Great Frog website "I have a ring on every finger and every one of them comes from the Great Frog."
The Warpig sells for $360 and the Ace of Spades sells for $295, and are each numbered and engraved. The first five went to the band and managment.

M Rock Top 10's Of 2011
Chris Caballero @RockRadioDJ
Top Ten of Two Thousand Eleven.
I gotta say this was tough this year. A lot of albums only had one or two good songs but even some of those were so strong they beat out full lengths that were "pretty good". I considered doing a top 10 songs, but gadzooks, I could not commit to such a striped down list that would end up hardly comprehensive. I guess neither is a top 10 album list, but its's something to report. I will spare you honorable mentions here is my Top 10:
10. Cake - Showroom of Compassion
9. Crosses - ✝✝✝
8. Defeater - Empty Days & Sleepless Nights
7. Mogwai - Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will
6. Mastodon - The Hunter
5. Thrice - Major/ Minor
4. All Teeth - Young Love
3. Mariachi El Bronx - II
2. $wingin Utter$ - Here Under Protest
1. Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
Shaun Young @bombedShaun
Top Ten 2011.
Its not easy to sit down and write out your top ten for the last 365 days. Sure, immediately you write down the ones that stuck out from the last couple months. Then pops in those albums from way back in January, then ones you have to double check even came out this year. All of a sudden you have a page full of scribbles and arrows to numbers. Next year we should just do a top 20, it would be a lot less stressful.
10. Social Distortion - Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers - I'm With You
8. Rise Against - End Game
7. Chevelle - Hats Off to the Bull
6. Cage the Elephant - Thank You, Happy Birthday
5. Crosses - ✝✝✝
4. Mastodon - The Hunter
3. Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
2. The Black Keys - El Camino
1. Thrice - Major/ Minor

Mastodon Guitarist Says He Is The Victim Of A eBay Germany Scam
Bill Kelliher, guitarits for the metal band Mastodon says he was the victim of a online scam. He posted this message on Mastodon's official Facebook page:
"I recently sold a guitar on eBay to a kid in Germany. Now, long story short, he didn't like the guitar so asked for a refund. I gladly said, 'Send the item back and i will give you a refund. Well, he opened a case, somehow eBay Germany decided in his favor and refunded his money, WITHOUT EVER SENDING THE ITEM BACK!!!!!! Real cool, eBay. So when I opened an appeal to the decision, they asked him to send the item to me. He sent me an empty box!!! And I can do nothing now. eBay claims he sent the item back even though I have the receipts showing when I mailed it to him, it weighed 27 lbs. and when he sent it back, it weighed 11 lbs. They don't wanna hear it.
"ANY HELP????? Anyone affiliated with eBay Germany???"
Mastodon begins touring again overseas in January on there latest album 'The Hunter'. Mastodon are nominated for a grammy for their first single 'Curl of the Burl' off the new album.

Refused To Reunite At Coachella 2012?
Since Refused broke up in 1998 just after their release of the album 'Shape of Punk to Come', there have been many rumors of a reunion. The rumors grew larger last year when the album was re-released, but was eventually shot down by lead singer Dennis Lyxzen.
Recently reported by dyingscene.com a flyer has surfaced showing the band playing April 13th at next years Coachella concert in Indio Ca. It's not certain if it's "official" yet or the flyer is fake. But we remain hopeful. If its true, I think we will be spending a weekend in the desert next year.

Chevelle Premiere New Video For 'Face To The Floor'
The first single to Chevelle's sixth studio album 'Hats off to the Bull' finally has a video. 'Face to the Floor' was released back in October and scored a high debut on the Billboard 200 charts. When 'Hats off to the Bull' was released earlier this month it shot 'Face to the Floor' to number one. When this single was released we remebered why we like Chevelle so much.
'Face to the Floor' can also be found as the featured video on the mRockRadio.com homepage.
