The Melvins Announce New Album

   Just in time for Kurt Cobain's birthday, (he would of been 45 today) his favorite band The Melvins have announced they will release a new album.  'Freak Puke' will be released on June 5th under Ipecac Recordings.


  The band will change to a three piece for the new album, calling themselves "Melvins Lite".  Singer Buzz Osbourne and drummer Dale Crover are joined with bassist Trevor Dunn. The four piece version of The Melvins will be touring this spring with co-headliners Unsane.  The tour will be in San Francisco, CA April 12th at the Great American Music Hall.
