In January Wes Scantlin, lead singer for Puddle of Mudd was pulled over in Culver City, CA. Scantlin showed signs of intoxication, after the officers searched his car he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The Los Angeles district attorney filed their official complaint with Scantlin this week, listing the substance as cocaine. He is also being charged with driving without a licence, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Scantlin pled not guilty, and will return to court this week. Scantlin could face 5 years in jail.
