Rob Zombie Directs Ant Bait Commercial Starring Clint Howard

Rob Zombie's AMDRO Ant Bait commercial starring actor Clint Howard (brother of director Ron Howard) can be seen below.  Rob is no stranger to doing commercials.  He previously directed a Woolite commercial, you can also check that out below.

In a interview with FEARnet he said "working with Clint again was a blast.  Actually it worked out great since the agency wanted a Clint Howard type for the spot.  So naturally I said 'How about if I just call the guy and see if he's interested?" He was, and the rest is ant-killing history."

Rob Zombie just finished post production on his next film 'The Lords of Salem' and is heading back to the studio, while still touring in the middle of it all.

Kurt Cobain Was Working On A Solo Album At The Time Of His Death

Former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson is writing a tell all book about the life and times of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

In a recent interview with Fuse, Erlandson says Cobain was actually working on a solo album right before his suicide.

Eric Erlandson author of 'Letters to Kurt'
"[Kurt] was heading in a direction that was really cool.  It would have been his 'White Album' Erlandson said refering to the Beatles album. "That's really what he was going towards, a solo album but working with different people.

"I was really excited about some of the stuff he was working on.  I got to see him play it in front of me.  That's why I was really sad [when he died].  I was like, 'Oh man, not only are you cutting off a life, but a message to the world, a musical path is just left with... Bush and all this other stuff [laughs].  He was cut short.  Who knows where the music would have gone."

Erlandson says he hopes a collection of demos will get released to the fans at some point.  "I heard some talk about somebody putting together some raw, rough acoustic thing... and that would be more intimate than the box set [2004's 'With the Lights Out'] because all those little jams you have to throw out [for the box set release]." he said.

They presented some [of the demos] but there is stuff that has not been put out... I'm not in control of things.  I just wish something would come together.  I think the fans would be a lot happier.  If nobody ever hears those songs, except for like three people, then... that's the way it goes."
